Products - E*TRAC/Net

E*TRAC/Net is a web-based reporting and data entry component of E*TRAC which uses a standard web browser and works over a local intranet or a secure Internet connection.  It augments the existing E*TRAC reporting subsystem and allows low-cost deployment of real-time E*TRAC reports and selected data entry screens to outside agencies (treatment providers, courts, probation department, DA offices, etc.)

Release 1.0 of E*TRAC/Net provides view-only access to data with two notable exceptions: users can enter notes ("chrons") and update meeting data.. Future versions will provide more data entry and edit capabilities.  

Summary of benefits:

• E*TRAC/Net allows low-cost, real-time access to E*TRAC data by external agencies (treatment providers, courts, probation department, DA offices, etc.)
• Provides secure, selective, user-configurable access to E*TRAC data.  The scope of access (viewing only a subset of clients, accessing only selected reports, etc.) depends on the access level assigned to individual users.
• Significantly cuts down on the amount of work needed to prepare (print, mail, etc.) reports and other client documentation for the providers.
• Decreases the cost of printer consumables (paper, toner, ink) used to print reports and client documentation.
• Uses existing data – no extra data entry required.
• Permits remote data entry (chrons, schedule, etc.)
• Is simple, reliable and easy to use (uses a standard web browser.)
• Doesn’t require any new hardware or software.

E*TRAC/Net requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft Internet Information Server and a web browser (MS Internet Explorer recommended) and is offered only with  E*TRAC Universal (Enterprise) Edition.
